Case Manager - Homelessness x 4
We are looking for professionals with substantial experience in Homelessness. This role involves providing day to day support, advice and assistance in the Homelessness and Housing Options Team, specifically in relation to homelessness prevention.
Good interpersonal skills, empathy and sound judgement are essential in this role. You will need to be organised and self-motivated but also a good team player. The work in this service area can be difficult and stressful and you must be open-minded towards customers whilst also exercising our statutory duties. On a day to day basis you will need to liaise with a variety of individuals/organisations both internal and external to the Council in order to execute your duties.
We are looking for applicants who can demonstrate an adaptable and flexible approach, a positive attitude and an ability to work on their own initiative. Experience of working with the Homelessness Reduction Act and understanding of the complexities of meeting priority need and our various duties are essential.
