Effective digital services underpinned by available, robust, resilient and secure infrastructure are the lifeblood of our business and this role is central to our ambitious transformation plans in ensuring our new digital solutions deliver great customer experience.  We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Infrastructure to develop Origin’s IT infrastructure through significant investment whilst improving business as usual services. The role is also key to maintaining Origin’s IT hardware, operating systems, networks and cloud services to ensure Origin’s infrastructure is secure, available and performing well at all times.

Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate must have excellent relationship management, organisational skills, a keen eye for detail and a 'can do' attitude.  You will need to be resilient, self-reliant, tactful and cheerful even under pressure. You will be customer focused resolving second line queries within Service Level Agreements and liaising with third party suppliers when required. An aptitude to learn and problem solve while remaining empathetic to the user are as important as detailed technical knowledge.

You’re a passionate Service Desk Analyst, whose main goal is to deliver a premier service to the wider business. Customer service is paramount to its success and you strive to maintain a high bar. Proficient with using service desk tools, Windows, Office 365, Outlook and AD to receive, log and resolve calls made to our internal IT Service Desk.

Experience in creating and maintaining Process Documentation. An appreciation of the wider technologies provided and supported by other teams within the company. Proven experience performing 1st/2nd line support within a Service Desk Environment. Knowledge of ITIL Foundation, with exceptional written and verbal skills.
