Nottingham City Homes has been awarded Landlord of the Year at the 2018 UK Housing Awards and manages more than 27,000 homes across the city on behalf of Nottingham City Council. Our vision is to ‘create homes and places where people want to live’. All of our homes have reached the decent homes standard and, as part of our ‘Building a better Nottingham’ programme, we are building hundreds of new council homes – the biggest programme of its kind for a generation. At Nottingham City Homes, we offer an excellent benefits package with a minimum of 25 days’ holiday, flexible working, training and personal development, an additional holiday purchase scheme, lifestyle benefits, childcare vouchers and a defined pension scheme (company contribution on average is 16%).

Do you get a buzz from making things happen? Are you a self-starter who enjoys taking ownership of their projects and working in a busy team environment? Are you looking to develop your career as a project manager or take your next step into a more senior role whilst being at the forefront of delivering an ambitious new build development programme? Then we have the ideal opportunities for you.

You will have excellent project management skills, with both an attention to detail and the ability to see the bigger picture. You will be an excellent communicator and will enjoy developing strong working relationships with both colleagues and external partners.

Based in the busy New Build Development team, you will be working within a small and busy team focussed on the delivery of new homes.

Working to assist the Assistant Director of Development in the delivery of the new build housing programme, you will effectively manage and support the project delivery team. You will have experience of managing a high performing team with the ability to lead, motivate and inspire your team to deliver. You will have a track record in effective risk management with strong financial management experience bringing projects in within budget and on time. You will have the ability to manage multiple projects and understand the importance of building strong relationships.

In exchange, you can expect a rewarding professional career within a very people focused business environment. We offer a flexible working environment and have a strong emphasis on a good work life balance where your personal and professional development is actively encouraged and supported.
