Are you an ambitious and forward-thinking individual looking for a new opportunity to work in an ever evolving and developing team? Orbit is one of the UK's leading Housing Providers and we are looking to recruit a Junior IT Support System Analyst located at our Coventry Head Office.
Based across the Midlands, the East and the South East, Orbit is already one of the UK's leading housing associations. We provide high quality, good value homes to over 100,000 customers across 42,000 homes. We are a big developer too, building 2,000 new homes every year. At the heart of this growth are our customers. We provide all sorts of homes for all sorts of people, and our approach empowers every one of them to grow and flourish. We make profit in order to invest into the communities we work for, playing a key role in driving UK housing growth.
This role presents opportunity and a firm foundation for a career within Orbit. Our IT team plays a crucial part in supporting the business and the technology that underpins it. Your role will see you assist and support the team with administrative duties and tasks to complete efficiently including systems security, configuration, maintenance and software updates.
The team provides support to staff across the business, and plays a prominent role in change management, and day to day business operations. You will be the main point of contact for the Service Desk and responsible for working with the wider IT team in helping maintain support documents. This is a fantastic opportunity to progress and build IT experience in a varied environment.
To be successful you'll need to be an analytical and enthusiastic individual with attention to detail. You will be a strong communicator, who can follow processes well and take on multiple tasks on a daily basis. The team interacts with internal colleagues across Orbit, so you'll need to enjoy working with end users in both your project and day to day work, and be comfortable communicating complex messages to colleagues who are not IT experts.
