Can you deliver customer focussed Estate Services?

We're looking for a skilled Mobile Operative to bring their expertise to the Estate Services Team. You will need to enjoy working with people and be able to use your knowledge and experience to make a real difference to our communities and our customers.

With experience of caretaking and grounds maintenance, you'll be responsible for bulk refuse collections, minor repairs, pressure washing and operating machinery.

You'll be driving / loading a rapid response bulk refuse collection vehicle and collect bulk refuse and unwanted items from various internal and external locations. This is a varied and challenging role, which requires commitment, good customer care skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and a 'can do' mentality.

You will often be working alone and therefore need to be able to work on your own initiative and be self-motivated to organise your own time effectively. You will need to be proactive in your daily activities and aware of safe working practices. You'll have the ability to deal with members of the public, staff and community representatives in a courteous, effective and professional manner.

Previous experience of operating principles and maintenance needs of bulk refuse vehicles and machinery as well as experience of carrying out minor repairs is essential.

If this sounds like an opportunity you'd be interested in, we look forward to hearing from you.
