About the post

Are you a driven and proactive media officer with experience in media relations, planning, delivering and evaluating PR projects, media relationship building and selling in stories?

Habinteg is looking for a Media and Communications Officer to join our Communications team. You will lead on our day to day interactions with the media, responding to requests from journalists and other media contacts, as well as preparing and selling in targeted media content.

You will be confident working with colleagues around the business to source information, as well as going out and about to gather stories from our tenants and networks that help us to deliver on our overarching influencing strategy. You will be organised and able to react quickly to incoming enquiries and handle competing priorities.

You will be a keen storyteller who can adapt messages for different audiences. You will also be confident using social media for stakeholder engagement and campaigning.
