bpha is a housing association which is committed to providing its customers with high quality, value for money services whilst continuing to develop energy efficient, sustainable and affordable housing.  Our Retirement Living is sheltered, rented accommodation specially designed to help people over the age of 55 live independently.

Residents are able to enjoy homes that are self-contained with their own secure front doors for peace of mind, and can maintain their independence whilst living in the surrounding of a friendly and close-knit community. Residents have the use of various communal facilities allowing them to interact and socialise.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for someone with experience of supporting vulnerable people to join one of our retirement living schemes in Trowbridge.  In this role, you will assist our retirement living customers with their tenancies, providing assistance and support in order to deliver efficiently managed housing.

Providing excellent customer service, you will manage our residents’ support plans, ensuring regular face to face and telephone contact.  You will help with housing management tasks such as low level rent arrears and anti social behaviour, and will oversee all relevant health and safety checks.

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the needs of older people along with the ability to deal with customers in a professional and efficient manner.  An approachable person who is responsive to requests for help, you will have the ability to remain calm under pressure. Experience of supporting people to remain independent is desirable.
