Ansell court is a new Extra Care Service based in Mill Hill, purpose built, designed as a Dementia friendly purpose block of flats providing support to individuals over 55+ and those who may be under the age of 55 with long term health conditions. 50% of clients at Ansell court will be living well with Dementia and the other 50% will have various needs.

We use a person-centred approach to care and support our clients to continue living as independently as possible, maintain or learn new skills while ensuring their safety and ensuring their choices are promoted, through activities they enjoy, are able to enjoy life to the maximum.

Emphasis is on having a can-do attitude, passion for caring, using initiative and taking time to get to know the clients, what they like and adapt their care and support according to their needs and preferences.

Applicants for this senior post must be able to demonstrate supervisory skills and lead by example. They will be able to deputize for the manager as needed. Experience and knowledge of working with people living well with dementia, supervising staff, key worker duties, experience of writing and reviewing support plans, managing staff rotas, basic IT skills is key to being selected for this role.
