The South East Consortium (SEC) is a not for profit organisation delivering procurement solutions to the public sector.

We’re looking to fill a brand new role – Technical Services Officer. The role exists to support our growing number of customers with the work they do pre-tender.  You’ll be talking to various Housing Associations & Local Authorities about their specifications and pricing models – making sure these are fit for purpose and achieve best value.

You’ll have an understanding of Asset Management in housing and the importance of procurement. You’ll be self-motivated and have an eye for detail.  You’ll also have strong analytical skills and be able to engage with Clients at all levels. You’ll need to be flexible and prepared to travel to meet Clients and Framework Contractors.

As part of your application, you will be required to submit a personal statement that outlines what you can bring to this role. This will be a crucial part of the assessment regarding the short-listing process.

This is a unique opportunity. We’re looking for the right person who’ll work with us to continue to grow our business.  We’ll look at applications from individuals looking for either full or part time work.  We’re also happy to hear from you if you’re working towards a recognised professional qualification.

Our planned date for interviews is Wednesday 8th May PM.

If you are thinking of applying we recommend that you contact David Ashby, Technical Services Manager to find out more about the role – SEC (07969 534791).
