Local Space is a growing and dynamic HA of c 2500 homes based in East London

We were established in 2006 and have an unusual approach to providing affordable homes at market rent, through a highly effective programme of purchase and repair. Working with a range of local authorities including Waltham Forest, Newham and Hackney, our tenants and residents are at the heart of what we do. As a registered not for profit charity we are proud of the role we play in neighbourhood regeneration.

The Corporate Services Department is recruiting to a Senior Corporate Services Officer to join its team. The department provides Human resources, training, staff engagement, external communications, IT and digital services through our 3rd party providers and also looks after office services. It has an exciting and varied remit, which is challenging at the same time.

We are looking for someone who has a specialism in at least one of the following areas, HR, IT or Communications. If you think this is the role for you, we would really like to hear from you.

We are committed to the continuous development of a culture of employee engagement and high performance, that reflects our values in the delivery of the services we provide. We were successfully re-accredited at Silver IIP status in April 2019 which demonstrates the value we put on our staff.

You will be based at our head offices on the Romford Road in Stratford London which will shortly be the home to 32 staff as part of our planned growth. Nearby is the Olympic Park and Westfield Shopping Centre, as well as the newly built £147.6m Atherton Leisure Centre.

Reporting to the Corporate Services Director you will play a crucial role in building capacity within Corporate Services. In return you will have a varied role, honing your skills and experience and learning new things. We offer a good benefits package including a generous holiday entitlement and membership of our gold health cashback scheme.

Your application should consist of a CV of no more than 3 sides of A4, and a supporting statement of just 2 sides of A4. Please complete the equalities form and the attached Information Sheet.

Send your application to recruitment@localspace.co.uk - closing date Monday 29th April  2019 at 5 pm.

If you want to discuss the role further, please call Catherine Diamond on 020 8221 4005.
