We’re looking for a qualified accountant with experience of management accounting/business reporting to join us as a Finance Business Partner.
The UK has a housing problem. This affects every one of us, because housing is the foundation of the society we live in. Catalyst is part of the solution. You could be too.
One of the UK’s leading housing associations, Catalyst is here to make a purposeful difference by providing housing solutions for those who can’t afford a home without our help. We offer a wide range of homes, for rent, part ownership or purchase. By doing so, we build more than homes – we build communities. Put simply, we’re committed to our social purpose - in every part of our organisation. And, we always seek to do better. If you do too, read on.
Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will use your skills and emotional intelligence to provide the highest standard of management information, reporting and support to budget holders and stakeholders at all levels of the business. Your ability to see the wood from the trees will ensure that Catalyst managers and leaders have financial information that makes it easy for them to do their jobs and make informed financial choices whilst driving excellent financial performance. As a business partner you will be more than just a number cruncher - you will make it your mission to understand and influence financial performance, drive improvement, and provide a “wow” service with great relationships that reflects our vision of being a first class finance team.
To be successful in this post you will be a qualified accountant with experience in positions that reflect the technical requirements and the interpersonal skills required of this role. You will have experience in management accounting/business reporting role(s), where you have taken the lead on management accounts production, reporting, budget setting and forecasting. You will be a confident communicator at all levels, communicating with gravitas and diplomacy. You will be passionate about getting it right and producing excellent reports that focus on the important things. Your customer focus, powers of persuasion, and your talent for working with people at all levels of the business will shine through in your personality and career history.
We’re a Sunday Times top 100 Best Company to Work for. We invest a lot of time and resources in our people because we know it’s our people who will drive our success. If you’d like to join us, and help make a real difference, please get in touch.
The role is subject to a basic DBS check.
Please note completed pre-employment forms must be included in order for your application to be processed.
Closing date: 25 April 2019.
