We provide homes and services to over 16,000 people across Greater Manchester.

We are looking for a Development Manager to support the organisation’s growth ambitions including the identification and negotiation of new business opportunities.

We are looking for someone who can manage the delivery of development projects, whilst managing and developing colleagues to achieve their potential and deliver effective performance.

Someone who will take pride in working in an agile way to achieve our vision of “creating fantastic places to live and enjoy life”. That will oversee all bids for funding, prepare project briefs / formal appointments and that will lead our development service to external agencies to provide project management support.

We need someone who has knowledge of the current political, social and economic environment for housing, who has experience of extensive project and/or programme management within property related environment. With skills that enable you to Identify new development business opportunities, you will have previous experience of procurement of contracts and management of contractors/ consultants, site acquisition, sales and marketing of property.

Holding great written, verbal, mathematical and presentation skills, you will be able to collaboratively work and develop successful relationships. A flexible approach to agile working practices is essential.

Please note you will need a full valid driving licence and access to own vehicle for work purposes
