Starting salary c£33,500 to £40,150 per annum (depending on skills and experience)

In this brilliant opportunity as a Portfolio Project Manager (known internally by us as Propco Portfolio Manager) you’ll support us in delivering our commercial property service for our supported accommodation portfolio, acquiring, designing and building high quality new accommodation and converting existing properties to meet the specialist needs of our customers. Working closely with our New Models of Care team you’ll provide better properties, better services and long term housing solutions. You’ll ensure that we are maximising efficiencies and value for money through acquisitions, disposals and brilliant property management.
Our Propco family are expanding so you’ll report to our new Lead Propco Portfolio Manager and work for John, our Head of Propco Portfolio. As a Strategic Partner to Homes England, we have an ambitious target to buy and create lots of new properties – an interesting time with plenty of opportunity to make this role your own.
You’ll work collaboratively with colleagues across the business offering property related advice on our existing portfolio as well as providing new properties. This is an amazing opportunity to make your mark, contributing to operational and strategic issues across Home Group.

A bit about you
It goes without saying that you’ll be a RICS member with a relevant degree or equivalent. You’ll have significant experience in commercial and residential property management, landlord/tenant matters, dilapidations as well as delivering property land acquisitions and disposals. You’ll really impress us with your general practice and building surveying background and experience in providing solutions to complicated property problems. You’ll be a strong communicator and be able to write clear and concise reports with recommendations.
This role will involve regular national travel and you therefore you will have a current driving licence and access to a car for work.
