What your role will be
You will lead our Affordable Housing business in an expansive role that encompasses setting leadership and direction working with all Places for People regulated housing providers. You will be responsible for commissioning our affordable housing programme in England, taking a pivotal role in our placemaking and neighbourhoods strategies as well as ensuring first class service delivery.
You will build excellent relationships with key stakeholders across all parts of the Group’s operational activities in order to continuously improve our service offer, deliver services our customers’ value and generate business opportunities that generate revenue, deliver social value and build on our reputation for innovation. As the Group Executive Director for Affordable Housing you will proactively contribute to the development of all aspects of Group policy and planning and the future direction of Places for People Group and its’ regulated subsidiaries.
Your background
To succeed in this role you will be able to drive the commissioning, delivery and management of quality affordable housing, with a passion for customer experience and quality of service. You will have an engaging leadership style, with an entrepreneurial spirit, used to challenging the status quo where required to add value to the business
To be considered for this role you should have extensive experience within the affordable housing sector. You will need to work with residents, colleagues and stakeholders to devise strategy, shape business plans and ensure your teams can translate these into operational activity that show measurable outcomes that has a positive impact on our people, places and customers.
You will be a natural collaborator and inspire others around you with this commitment and empower them to ensure that they and their teams, make a difference, every day.
This role will cover our affordable housing across the UK, and we can be flexible on the base location of this role, however there will be a need for regular attendance in London and Preston. You will need to be geographically mobile.
