£27,819 per annum (rising to £29,283 after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)

 

35 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Facilities Manager to work within the Group Facilities department.  Group Facilities ensures that the delivery of hard and soft services adhere to agreed standards, current legislation and health and safety regulations throughout our offices.

 

The role of Facilities Manager will include:

  • Responsible for three Group offices in the North East, delivering fully compliant, cost effective facilities management services
  • Conducting and documenting regular facilities reviews of office premises across the Group
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
  • Arranging the servicing and repair of facilities and equipment
  • Managing contractors
  • Preparing and tracking office budgets which includes verifying invoices and approving payments
  • Developing and monitoring a facility management program including preventative maintenance and life-cycle requirements
  • Being on call to react to office/equipment failures

 

Skills and experiences:

  • Proven experience of multi-site facilities management is essential
  • Ability to manage priorities and meet customer expectations
  • The successful candidate will be a strong administrator with experience of facilities management, and have excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Outstandingly organised with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Awareness of opportunities to improve efficiency and standards
  • Innovative problem solver
  • Travel is a requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is desirable
