Are you ready for a challenging and interesting role where you can make a real difference?
We are looking to recruit a permanent full-time Housing Income Officer and a full time 12 Month fixed-term Housing Income Officer (to cover parental leave).
Would you like to work with tenants to help reduce their rent arrears or stop them getting into arrears in the first place?
We’re looking for someone with credit control or income management and arrears experience who can rise to the challenge of maximising the council’s housing rental income.
Early and preventative actions are key, as well as striking the right balance between enforcement and support.
You will manage a patch of around 1,160 mixed urban and rural properties and will be performance-oriented as well as conversant with housing law and civil court procedures. This is a varied role that requires you to build effective relationships with colleagues, other teams and external organisations.
