You will play a key role in the potential regeneration of town centre housing estates to improve neighbourhoods and deliver additional housing, reflecting our ambitions for growth and an attractive and vibrant locality with high quality public realm.

You will lead on all aspects of planning our consultation and engagement with residents, including options appraisals and feasibility studies.

The role requires the ability to work collaboratively with residents and communities, elected members, senior colleagues and relevant partners to understand their requirements and expectations and to develop and deliver a programme which supports our goals and statutory responsibilities.

You will build and sustain high-level strategic partnerships with governmental and regional agencies including Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) Greater London Authority (GLA) and Transport for London (TfL).

You will lead on all aspects of the preparation and planning stages of the programme, including commissioning appropriate technical and specialist resources to enable delivery. You will lead our growing team to deliver on all aspects of housing estate regeneration including establishing and supporting resident steering groups, a wide range of communication and engagement activities, procurement and clienting of specialist consultancy support, options appraisals, housing needs assessments and rehousing, and work to support achievement of Compulsory Purchase Orders.

Experience required 
The role will require substantial and successful experience in a programme management post within the area of housing and regeneration or related professional fields 

You will have a successful track record of collaborative working with residents and communities, council members and partners to ensure we meet our regeneration objectives.

You will also bring an expert working knowledge of emerging policy, good practice guidelines and models of funding, investment and delivery applicable to housing regeneration and related activities.

You must be able to plan, manage and control multiple project schedules and oversee the completion of deliverables within budget and timescale deadlines.
