Location: Walsingham Court, IP2 9YL
Salary: £20,140 - £21,200
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full time, 36.25 hours per week

As part of the continuous development of our service, we now have an exciting opportunity for a Sheltered Scheme Officer to join our Independent Living Team based in Ipswich.
The Sheltered Scheme Officer will be responsible for managing our Walsingham Court scheme ensuring that our customers are supported and provided with appropriate advice and options to meet their individual needs and general welfare. You will be deal with any issues or emergencies to ensure a safe environment.
You will also be tasked with the social and community engagement at Walsingham Court encouraging and supporting communal activities with the residents.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a similar setting with vulnerable individuals. You will have a passion for working in sheltered housing and supporting and empowering residents. You will have experience in housing management and have an understanding of welfare benefits.
