Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing is one of the UK`s leading providers of affordable housing and care and support services. As Night Concierge you will provide first contact and security to the customers at night in the supported housing scheme. The post-holder will be responsible for controlling access to the building, dealing with emergencies, carrying out Health and Safety checks and communicating any concerns or events to the rest of the team.
Whilst this is a lone working position, the Night Concierge will have access to advice and support from the Out-of-Hours management on-call service. This is a full time position working 35 hours a week. This will consist of 10 hour shifts; 4 nights on, 4 nights off, 3 nights on, 3 nights off.
What you`ll need to succeed
As this is a lone working role experience in a similar role is essential and any experience of supporting vulnerable adults would be an advantage. You also need to be able to demonstrate a passion to deliver excellent service to vulnerable adults in a dignified manner. You will need to be able to work independently and have the confidence to deal with customers that may act in an unpredictable manner.
