Since our recent merger we have created some new roles to support the delivery of our vision and are now looking to appoint a Regional Director for North London/Central region.

This is a new role and offers a unique opportunity for the successful candidate to really take ownership of the business operations within the Region. You will work with the other Regional Directors to provide strategic direction and operational leadership delivering excellent housing and care and support services in compliance with relevant regulation and legislation. As the Regional Director you will be an effective member of the Customer Services Senior Leadership Team working collaboratively with the Executive Director and other Directors and colleagues within and outside of the Directorate to ensure a sustainable, dynamic and successful organization.

Your team has accountability for circa 20,000 homes, half of which are social rent and the remainder comprised of Older Peoples, Supported, Shared Ownership and Leasehold. Your team will deliver housing services to all tenures and a range of care and support services including Extra Care, Forensic Mental Health pathway services and supported living for individuals with Learning Difficulties. You will lead on external stakeholder relationships and work with the key stakeholders in your core boroughs on innovative approaches which will join the dots between Health, Housing and Social Care working with the NHS and Local Authorities.

About You:

You will have ideally experience of working at a senior level in operational service delivery from either the Social Housing or Care and Support sectors. You should have a strong understanding of the policy and socio-economic issues affecting social housing customers and the neighbourhoods where they live and be a strong leader and natural networker. This role requires someone who is passionate about what we do and confidently able to manage and grow a regional business. You will need to be a role model for your team and have the ability to influence and challenge colleagues within and outside of the organisation. The successful candidate will be educated to degree level and / or have experience relevant to the role. You may have a relevant professional qualification / membership of sector or trade bodies

The ability to travel nationally and to meet external commitments is essential
