The Visiting Scheme Manager will be responsible for covering Canon Green and Parkside Court. You'll be working 8 hours a week; Tuesday for 3 hours at Canon Green and then on to Parkside Court for 2 hours and Thursday 3 hours at Canon Green.

About the schemes

Canon Green consists of 12 two-bedroom retirement properties in landscaped gardens and grounds. Some of the properties have their own attractive small gardens.

Parkside Court has been carefully designed to blend in with its surroundings and forms a quiet courtyard in a setting of some fine mature trees. The development consists of 8 properties grouped around an attractive communal garden.

What you'll be doing

We need a reliable, enthusiastic person to manage our developments and help residents maintain their well-being and independence. Winning the confidence and trust of residents, building relationships with their relatives and carers and liaising with social services and other agencies is crucial to the role.

A varied remit includes monitoring contractors' performance, ensuring buildings are clean and secure, reporting faults, maintaining records and accounting for expenditure.

What we're looking for

This role will suit someone who is calm, sensitive and approachable; you'll be capable of communicating with people from all backgrounds, handling petty cash and keeping accurate records. Your helpful, sympathetic personality will be matched by your strong organisational skills and ability to work under your own initiative.

This is a fantastic opportunity to utilise your extensive skills and experience to really make a difference.

If this sounds like an opportunity you'd be interested in, we look forward to hearing from you.
