Meeting the Mayor’s targets for housing
The housing crisis is one of the greatest challenges facing the capital – and the Mayor of London has ambitious plans to tackle it. The Greater London Authority (GLA) is working hard to make genuinely affordable homes a reality for more people. The scale of the challenge is huge, but so is our commitment. Together we can build a London for everyone.
The opportunity
You’ll provide the data and information that help senior management and operational staff monitor delivery against the Mayor’s housing targets. This means carrying out in-depth analysis of housing and land data to create tailored reports. Expect to produce options appraisals, risk analysis and other recommendations, and to provide strategic leadership on all aspects of programme management.
The person
We’re looking for someone with management-level experience of developing new approaches, procedures and policies for large investment programmes. This should include the implementation of bespoke data management functions. Advanced-level expertise in the use of data management tools such as JasperSoft, Report Server, Business Objects or Excel is therefore essential. Your proven problem-solving and analysis abilities will be matched by well-developed communication skills.
