The Role

We are looking to appoint a Home Ownership Manager to our team within our Housing department. You will be responsible for leading Home Ownership Officers  and for the delivery of the service to our Homeowners. This includes our shared ownership offering and service charge accounts.

You will be responsible for ensuring all our rent and service charge accounts are managed effectively to maximise our income.

As part of the remit you will lead on section 20 consultations and ensure these are handled effectively and efficiently to ensure we are delivering on our customer service and internal policies. You will be responsible for creating and managing policies within your area and ensuring these meet the current legislation and are best practice within our field.

The Person

We are looking for someone who is performance driven and has experience of improving processes to deliver sustained improvements. Over time we hope to expand the service so you will need to have a strategic mind set and the ability to build key relationships key with internal and external stakeholders.

Previous experience of working in a Housing environment is important although we are open as to whether this has been within Social Housing or the Private Sector. You will enjoy working both as part of a team and on your own initiative, and your excellent prioritising and organisational skills will enable you to manage a busy and varied workload.
