West of Scotland Housing Association (WSHA) strives to be more than just a landlord. With over 50 years of history, what sets them apart is the way in which they go further to improve the lives of tenants, innovatively responding to their needs as their lives change. They go further to provide housing tenants can call home.

WSHA provides around 3,500 tenanted homes and over 400 owner occupied homes across the West of Scotland and will create a total of 500 new homes, including Passivhaus and mid-market rent, by 2021. They have a wide range of homes to suit tenants at every stage of their life including tenemental flats, family homes, amenity properties and sheltered housing.

WSHA are looking to recruit a Chief Executive with a social conscience who will drive the organisation forward and help deliver their ambitious corporate plan, vision and future direction. A passionate individual with a strong knowledge of social housing and who will also oversee the activities of their charitable subsidiary, Willowacre Trust, including acting as a Director of the Board and maximise value for money in all areas.

They will have an excellent understanding of good governance and regulatory requirements and substantial experience of financial and budgetary control

The new Chief Executive Officer will be tenant focused, motivational, supportive and charismatic. A strong leader who is open to modernisation and innovation. A natural communicator who understands the need to be visual, inclusive, influential and decisive.
