Waking Night Worker
Sudbury
Full Time, 42 hours a week

Notting Hill Genesis is actively recruiting for a Waking Night Worker to work across two of their young people schemes in Sudbury.
This is an exciting time to join Notting Hill Genesis as we are recruiting to several jobs in the Suffolk area. The Waking Night Worker will be responsible for the safety and wellbeing of our customers and security of our scheme at night. The schemes are accommodation based environments that support young people who may have experienced drug, alcohol, substance misuse problems, and/or have varying support needs.
The primary focus of our schemes is to support clients in a range of areas, including finding employment, recovery from addiction, and building stability through a range of social activities. A successful outcome is achieved when our customers can move on to more suitable long-term accommodation, appropriate to their needs.
Although previous supported housing / young people services experience would be suitable for this role, we are also looking for inspirational individuals who will seize the potential of making a difference in people's lives. We want to find motivational individual's that have a genuine interest working with vulnerable people and delivering a person-centred service.
Please see the Role Profile for further details. You can request this from our Recruitment Partner - Retinue Solutions.
We fully endorse career development and have a great reputation for rewarding our staff. Benefits include 26 days annual leave the possibility of flexible working, significant opportunities for learning and development and the opportunity to make a difference to how Genesis evolves in the coming years.
For further information or an informal conversation regarding the role please contact Laura Maxey on 0203 837 7880 or email at laura-maxey@retinue-solutions.com. Applications should be made on the Notting Hill Genesis website www.genesisha.org.uk.
You will need to supply your CV and a supporting statement (detailing your suitability for the role).
