An opportunity has arisen for a permanent position within the Housing Strategy and Commissioning team based in the Council’s Environment, Housing and Regeneration Directorate.

The successful candidate will work on key areas of housing strategy, commissioning and performance management, and will contribute to the achievement of the overall objectives of the directorate, acting as lead officer on specific projects. You may also be required to provide occasional support to our housing development and regeneration teams. The postholder will be responsible for gathering and analysing performance data, creating reporting systems and using data to drive improvement. Your role will also include responding to enquiries and investigating complaints and concerns from tenants and leaseholders. 

We are looking for a good team player who can take a flexible but also proactive approach to support the housing strategy and commissioning function. You will also need to relate well to staff at all levels but be able to challenge constructively where required and illicit positive responses when making requests for information.
