This is an exciting new opportunity working within our busy Welfare and Housing Service to support individuals who are rough sleeping or at risk of rough sleeping within Bracknell Forest.

This is an exciting time to deliver new services in Bracknell to help reduce rough sleeping in the Borough. Leading and coordinating partner agencies including Health, Community Safety, Social Care and voluntary agencies you will bring a targeted approach to those who are rough sleeping. You will act as a vital resource that provides information, advice and guidance about rough sleeping within Bracknell Forest and develops clear pathways and processes to help rough sleepers transition off the streets and into more settled accommodation.

You will have experience of working with rough sleepers and have an in-depth knowledge of the factors that contribute to individuals being at risk of rough sleeping and also of those that are entrenched. Managing a team of specialist officers including but not limited to a Dual Diagnosis Recovery Practitioner and Senior Officers who will also have management responsibilities you will provide strong leadership and management to achieve positive outcomes for rough sleepers. Whilst the Dual Diagnosis Recovery Practitioner will be managed across three services including the Drug and Alcohol Team and Community Mental Health Team, the Rough Sleeper Team Manager will be responsible for the operational management of that post on specific projects.
