The spot salary for this post is £26,111 (pro rata) per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. Applicants, who do not meet all of the requirements of the post, will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary.
£1,250 per annum paid monthly (subject to TAX and NI deductions, non-pensionable)
The Role and Person

As an Estate Services Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that the areas around our homes and safe and well managed and maintained. You will be responsible for managing and monitoring our Estates Service contracts, which include things like grounds maintenance and the cleaning of communal areas. You will be working with customers, colleagues and contractors to ensure that not only are services delivered as per the specification but that you also review the develop those standard over time.
As well as performance standards you will be managing budgets and reviewing satisfaction levels, and making recommendations based on exceptional or unsatisfactory performance. You will be out and about most of the time assessing work and developing and maintaining the partnership with contactors. This will include responding to calls from colleagues who need your help to ensure customers are as informed as possible. You will also get involved in approving costs for service charges and possibly developing specifications for new schemes and new contracts.
Your core role and focus is all about supporting the effective delivery of estate services contracts as part of our service offer to customers.
You will need to take ownership of the work and responsibility for managing your own time and setting priorities for the work to be done. There is a high degree of communication in this role and you will need to be excellent in building effective relationships. We expect you to have a record of successful management of contractors, through the good times and the tricky ones and you will have strong attention to detail and be able to interpret maps and plans.

- 28 days (pro rata) paid holiday per year rising by 1 day per year up to a maximum of one working week
