We are looking for:

This is an exciting role, working closely with the Board, in particular the Chair, as well as Directors and colleagues from across the organisation. Leading, or being part of, transformational change; enabling us to meet our objectives and deliver our challenging mission.

Our successful candidate will:

Working within multi-disciplinary teams, leading, and/or being part of, transformational change activities and programmes including Board and Committee design and development

Strategically setting, monitoring and reporting against Board and Committee forward plans

Diary management of the Chair and other key Board members. Ensuring that Board logistics and diary management match the strategic objectives and communication strategies of the organisation

Acting, at times, as a conduit between the Chair and stakeholders. Producing briefing notes and coordinating correspondence with key stakeholders

Working with others, as Secretary to the Board and its sub committees (including executive committees), leading in areas and providing support and resilience in others

Providing a full performance driven service to Board, Committee, and other governance forums

Planning, managing, monitoring and reporting against team and individual performance objectives

Governance related administration tasks as required.

Team working.

Ability to prioritise a busy workload with conflicting deadlines.

Project and programme participation

Experience of providing Secretariat support to a Board, Committee or Executive.

Experience of working in a demanding administrative role.

An understanding of Change management Principles

Matrix management as a manager or the managed.

An understanding and experience of public sector governance.
