This role

As a senior care and support worker you will join our team providing support to vulnerable adults with learning disabilities in Balham. Working over 2 schemes you will be required to provide personal care due to the needs of our customers. This is as well as support to promote independent living. If you are looking to join a leading Housing Trust that will support your development then we would be interested in receiving your application. Each service supports 5 customers and each customer has unique learning disabilities and individual care requirements. The focus is on them maintaining independent living and achieving social inclusion.

You will be required to work flexible over a seven day rota including bank holidays. The rota is 37.5 hours a week over 7 days. Shifts are 7-2:30, 2-10, 4-10 and 3-10+ sleep ins for which you will get an additional payment.

What you`ll need to succeed

As this is a senior position experience in a similar role is essential and any experience of managing a large caseload would be an advantage.

We are looking for you to demonstrate on your CV experience as a care & support worker ideally supporting individuals with learning disabilities. Knowledge of care plans and how they should be maintained is essential. As all of our records are recorded on a central It system confidence at learning new IT skills is also required.
