The Construction Safety Officer is a new post that will ensure Clarion can fulfil its role of being a safe and compliant employer as well as a safe and compliant provider of homes to our residents.

We're looking for someone with a background in housing who is process driven and practical in the field with experience of new developments and/or major redevelopment works.

You'll provide advice and guidance, supporting all aspects of construction safety including maintenance and refurbishment and planned programs of work as well as supporting other areas of the business with CDM and Construction duties.

Providing confidence and assurance of health and safety practices you'll identify weakness and risk within existing practices and support the CDM Manager in designing and implementing appropriate practices for this sector. Managing existing and new builds, carrying out audits and inspections, you'll offer coaching and support to drive the business.

This is a critical role within the Health, Safety and Fire Team delivering key safety advice and resource to the high risk areas of construction, ensuring compliance against current legislation and delivering high standards of internal customer service and support with clear, timely and appropriate technical and specialist support.

If you have an expert knowledge of Construction, Design and Management CDM2015 and hold a NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety, and want to be part of a team that aspires to make a safety contribution then please get in touch!
