Interim Head of Corporate Planning

Salary: c£65,000, depending on experience

In this newly created role, you will be at the forefront of A2Dominion's new strategy period for 2020-25. We need a heavyweight strategist to lead us through the next stages of developing our new corporate strategy and five-year plan, as well as embedding a revised planning and performance framework.

This opportunity comes at an exciting time for the award-winning group, as it embarks on a period of organisational changes and builds on the success of its Fit for the Future Programme, a £20million transformation programme that is set to bring significant improvements for both customers and staff.

In this varied role, your experience in developing and delivering group-wide strategies will see you get involved in projects on key performance indicators, strategic goals, core values, and stakeholder communications and engagement with the Group's future direction.

You will also be responsible for helping to manage a small team and devising a longer-term approach for delivering and resourcing the function beyond the initial six-month contract - incorporating key areas relating to horizon-scanning, innovation and corporate affairs - as part of the Group's emerging target operating model.

The ideal candidate will already have significant experience of business planning at a senior level within a large/complex organisation, as well as people and project management experience. We're looking for a leader with a wealth of experience of devising and developing corporate strategies, plans and frameworks, coupled with the ability to think strategically and critically analyse and challenge business information. A business management qualification would be highly regarded.
