We’ve got a fabulous opportunity for you to join our awesome team here at our Leeds Office. As well as supporting with all the routine admin tasks associated with a busy office we as a team look after all of the purchase orders, and income and expenditure for the business (that’s payments in and out to you and me!). In our “Centre of Excellence” we provide business support to our colleagues and customers across Home Group. We work collaboratively to deliver in-depth support, and work as a dedicated team to see the job through from end to end.
About our team
You’ll join our fabulous team of experienced administrators, who have worked for Home Group for a number of years. We’re passionate about providing brilliant customer service and will support you all the way.
We make sure that the purchase orders for our income and expenditure are raised efficiently and pay our bills (such as utility and council tax). Our Manager April is a bit of an Oracle (our payment system) guru, and she enjoys sharing what she knows. April has lots of business and transformation knowledge which she has gained through working at Home Group for 4 years, and brings this experience to the role.
Like most jobs it can be a challenging at times, but it’s ever so rewarding to work in our fun, vibrant and supportive team. We celebrate special days & cultural festivals, ultimately we’re a close knit team who always go out their way to support each other! We’re sure your valuable skills and experience will ensure we continue to deliver a high quality service to the business.
You’ll be working full time, 37.5 hours per week, which equates to a 7.5 hour day from Monday to Friday during the hours of 8am until 6pm.
You know your purchase orders from your invoicing, love using a system to follow a process and solving an issue. You have a really organised and methodical approach. If you’ve experience of using databases like ours (Oracle) that would be brilliant, and if you’ve also got experience of raising purchase orders or invoices, then that would be fab too! The great news is that we will support you with our full training.
You’ll have administration experience, and the ability to multi task, prioritise workloads to ensure you meet your deadlines. You have excellent working knowledge of office procedures with extensive knowledge of Microsoft packages including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. If you are able to minute take and take notes that would also be brilliant!
You’re a great team player and are comfortable working on your own initiative with minimum supervision. If you’re self-motivated and keen to work for a business where you make a difference, then this is the role for you!
