We currently manage over 6,000 homes and employ over 1000 full and part time staff from our head office in Hemel Hempstead. We have an annual turnover of £85million and a development programme that will deliver more than 1500 new affordable homes in the next three years.
About the Role
We currently have an opportunity for a Projects Manager who plays a key role in the Development Department and will assist the Head of Projects to deliver the Association`s development programme, evaluating and securing new development opportunities that meet local housing need and the Association`s objectives; to assess the financial viability of prospective schemes; and to project manage schemes through the development process successfully into management.
The role also involves liaising with funders and partners to secure grant funding, along with managing and developing a team of development staff.
About You
We are looking for individuals who have a thorough understanding of technical aspects of development and building as well as a comprehensive knowledge of a Housing Association`s current operating environment. You will have excellent communication skills and experiencein the development of homes. We are therefore looking for individuals who demonstrate a compassionate, enthusiastic, respective and `can-do` approach.
You must be able to work as part of a team to deliver an excellent service to the people we support and be flexible in your approach to work. You will have a commitment to equality and diversity and take a positive approach to supporting others.
All applicants must hold a valid UK driving licence.
