About the role

As a Legal Support Officer you'll form an integral part of the Legal team by providing general support on legal cases. More specifically you'll support Lawyers and Paralegals within the Litigation / Property and Contracts team in providing

Some of the main duties include:

  • To provide legal advice and assistance in commercial contracts and information law matters and other standard instructions, including but not limited to reviewing and drafting commercial contracts using existing templates, including non-disclosure agreements, services agreements, data sharing agreement, supply of goods agreements, contract extension and variation agreements, in order to protect the interests of Clarion.
  • To assist with various data protection compliance tasks.
  • To assist in developing the in-house legal provision to meet the needs of Clarion and its Group partners, ensuring that legal work is carried out in-house where this is more cost effective to do so (but subject to capacity) and that communication between instructing officers and the Legal Services team is effective and efficient
