This is an exciting time to join the UKs largest Housing Association as one of two new Data Protection Team Leaders for a busy Data Protection Team.

We need two experienced managers, experts in Data Protection, to lead a team of data protection practitioners to provide advice and guidance to the business on day to day privacy and data protection matters. Reporting to our Data Protection Officer you'll have responsibility for your own members of staff and support the team as a subject matter expert.

Able to apply the law pragmatically across the organisation, you'll have a sound understanding of existing data protection and privacy related legislation along with experience of working in the field previously. With excellent written, communication and analytical skills and the ability to write concise reports, policies and procedures, you'll be able to describe technical and compliance issues in an understandable way. Knowledge of the Affordable Housing Sector is preferable but not essential.

Using your knowledge of the law, guidance and best practice you'll be able to demonstrate experience of applying complex legislation in a variety of circumstances and must have previous management experience.
