Job Details

Supporting the development of economically vibrant communities and independent lives.

Expectations at Torus are high, but we anticipate that for our new COO that won’t be a problem.

This is a substantial role and we are looking for a leader who can make a bold and purposeful impact. We are the largest housing provider in the North West and our COO will take responsibility for more than 1,300 staff who are delivering services to some 75,000 customers. The portfolio also includes the management of around 40,000 homes and considerable commercial activities.

You are likely to be at executive level, and have experience of leading in a customer focussed setting. With an impressive track record in aligning people and resources around a vision, whatever your sector background - you will be able to give confidence about working to scale with a multi-disciplinary team.

The leadership team at Torus are collaborative in their approach; supportive in how we challenge one another to do better; and exceptional role models in how we move with ease between the strategic big picture and the care that we have for each and every customer. We are looking for a COO who will add value to our team, someone who can bring stretch and further learning.

Torus has an unwavering commitment to raise aspirations and improve lives and we plan to use our increased profile to be an even greater force for good. If that appeals to you, and speaks to the creativity and passion that you like to bring to your work, get in touch to find out more.
