Data Protection Manager
Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing is one of the UK`s leading providers of affordable housing and care and support services. We employ over 1900 people to manage and
develop our large portfolio of nearly 56,000 homes serving over 75,000 customers across London, the East Midlands, Southern and the East of England.
This is a new Senior Data Protection post, create to manage deliver all of MTVH’s Data protection obligations. The role is key both to help us protect our tenant’s data and to help MTVH deliver on its strategic aims to become a people powered organisation.
Your first task will be to embed a new data protection team and implement robust processes for data protection. Working closely with the wider data team you’ll help to ensure all our data and information security is reliable and secure.
What you'll need to succeed
As the team ultimately responsible for delivery of data protection processes you’ll need experience of data protection and the GDPR as well as an attention to detail, which guarantees no request is left, and no detail missed.
You’ll need to be comfortable with change and be able to drive improvements to businesses processed. Ultimately you will need a sensitivity and good judgment to help us protect some of our most vulnerable tenants.
