An exciting opportunity for a ‘Technical Officer’ in the Home Improvement Team has arisen following a comprehensive restructure of Economic Growth and Property.

The Home Improvement Team administers Disabled Facility Grants in order to support vulnerable people seeking essential adaptations to remain in their homes. The Home Improvement Team is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic individual with a ‘can do’ attitude who is keen to make a real difference to people’s lives. The Technical Officer is a pivotal role who supports the team and Occupational Therapists in the delivery of client based Disabled Facility Grants. We require a dynamic Building Surveyor or someone with an Architectural background that has experience and passion in designing person centred schemes for disabled people.
