We are looking for:
The purpose of the role is to support the delivery of Infrastructure Funding projects with a focus on the Housing Infrastructure Fund (HIF). Working in the Programme Management Office (PMO), this will include close working with dedicated Homes England staff based in offices around the country, panel consultants, and Other Government Departments (OGDs) involved in assessments, co-development and delivery. It may also involve direct contact with Local Authorities that have applied for and/or have been awarded funding.
Our successful candidate will:
The ideal candidate will be able to develop, manage and maintain effective internal working relationships with national teams working on Infrastructure Funding projects, including those staff leading the discussions with bidders, the Project Delivery and the Assurance teams, and externally with panel consultants, Local Authorities, the IPA and other OGD’s as required. The post holder must also develop and maintain good working relationships with:
Staff across Homes England delivery functions; and
Senior staff in corporate teams.
The skills we would like are:
To provide dedicated support as part of the Homes England Programme Management Office in supporting Homes England's role in the joint delivery of the Housing Infrastructure Fund (HIF). The role will involve supporting and co-ordinating the activities of the dedicated local area staff, Homes England Investment team and MHCLG as well as panel consultants appointed to support joint delivery of the fund. It may also involve direct contact with those Local Authorities that are awarded funding.
