The Role

This is a unique opportunity to lead and manage the delivery of a professional, proactive HR service to the Customer Services Directorate. You will manage a team of business partners and coordinators looking after the end to end employee lifecycle.

Supporting the Executive Director and SLT you will have the opportunity to contribute to the leadership of the Directorate both in HR aspects but also wider operational matters. In addition you will be the key contact with respect to MTVH Trades Union relationships with recognised unions escalating to ED People where appropriate.

While based from Nottingham you will be required to travel to services and other officers on a regular basis ensuring strong relationships are built with all key internal stakeholders.

What you’ll need to succeed

You will ideally have experience of working at a senior level and be able to demonstrate the ability to coach and influence key decision makers. As a credible senior HR BP your knowledge of employment law will be critical as will your ability to support direct reports with high volumes of queries, ER cases and bids for services.

We are seeking an experienced manager that will bring energy and enthusiasm in line with the key values of MTVH, which are to care, dare and collaborate. If you have experience within the housing or care & support sector that would be a distinct advantage, but not essential.
