Involving our tenants in designing and shaping the services they receive is essential. This co-production model of service delivery will improve performance, drive up satisfaction and ultimately provide our tenants and residents with services that meet their needs.

This is a full-time role, however, we will consider part time hours (25 minimum) for the right candidate.

Role Description

We are looking for an experienced resident engagement professional to join the Service Delivery Unit and directly impact on opportunities for tenants and residents to get involved and engage with all aspects of service delivery. You will build positive relationships with tenant groups, residents associations and a range of internal and external partners.  You will advocate a culture that embraces excellent customer service. 

Key Duties

Provide effective operational management of two Resident Engagement Officers

Motivate, guide and support housing staff to help ensure resident engagement is embedded in every aspect of the service

Provide a wide range of engagement opportunities and support to enable tenants to effectively influence decision-making and scrutinise performance

Encourage involvement and participation from a diverse representation of residents  and develop mechanisms to capture customer satisfaction e.g. STAR surveys

Experience and skills required

Detailed and comprehensive working knowledge of the Homes and Communities Agency Regulatory Framework, in particular the Tenant Involvement and Empowerment standard and the principles of Co-Regulation

In depth understanding of the social housing sector and the statutory and regulatory framework

Extensive experience of resident engagement and involvement

Experience of developing tenant participation groups and delivery of participation involvement strategies

Experience of project management
