We currently have an opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor (QS), to join us within the Operations team on a FTC of 12 months .  The successful individual within this role will optimise efficiency in delivering day-to-day maintenance and contract works through our Partnering and other contractors.

The QS will monitor expenditure against schedule of rates and quoted works on our major Partnering contract as well as analysing and assessing value for money on quoted works in the property compliance area.  We are seeking a confident individual who is comfortable around challenging our contractors, to ensure we consistently achieve value for money.   They will use their initiative to ensure delivery of a high quality service from our contractors resulting in evidential high levels of customer satisfaction.

They will also need to establish a rapport with our contract managers and building surveyors within property services to deliver the best results.

A surveying qualification is a minimum requirement (CIOB, RICS) combined with suitable experience of contract management within the social housing sector
