Salary £22,500 - £35,200 per annum plus bonus of up to £7,500 per annum on the achievement of sales targets

Flexible base from either our Newcastle Upon Tyne or Leeds Office

We have an amazing opportunity for a Sales Executive to manage all sales activity for the Yorkshire and Humber including our first launched Persona Scheme, Meaux Rise in Hull as well as our up and coming flagship site on Skipton Road in Harrogate.  We also have a variety of shared ownership schemes in and around the region including, Tockwith, Scarborough, Harrogate and Skipton.  This is a fabulous opportunity to join our award winning team (did you know we’re winners of best house at the What House Awards 2018?) and to make a big difference to the lives of our customers moving into their new home. 

You’ll manage the sales activity on site from legal set up through to sales completion. You will manage all leads for your scheme including carrying out viewings, securing reservations and progress sales through to completion for our new home sales. You’ll work collaboratively with Home Group solicitors to ensure they have all legal documentation to produce legal packs and progress sales.

You’ll be using your sparkly personality and awesome customer service skills to provide a first class service that delights our customers.  You’ll be reporting to Siobhan our Sales Manager, working alongside four other colleagues who make up our Yorkshire and Humber team.  Chris, our Regional Sales Manager - North heads up the team and joined us just over a year ago when relocating to Newcastle with his family.  He brings over 13 years of property selling experience with him and says he has really enjoyed every minute of working with Home Group so far. Outside of work, you’ll find him playing and watching sports, mainly Football, Rugby Union and Formula 1. Otherwise, he’s out and about in the North East exploring the local sights with his wife and two kids.

A bit about you

With a passion for new home sales and achieving sales targets, you’ll have a background in a property sales in a new homes or estate agency environment, including knowledge of affordable tenure products and outright sale. You’ll understand the financial requirements to buy, including mortgage processes and financial assessments. You’ll be self-motivated, an energised team member with excellent organisational skills. If you’re brilliant at building relationships with your customers which lead to a deal ‘close’, then this is the icing on the cake (or should we say the sold sign on the door!).

We’ll sometimes need you to travel around the region to our different sites so you’ll have a driving licence and access to a car which we will pay your business mileage for travel.
