About the role:


This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful repairs and maintenance department for a Housing Association with over 6,500 properties! We provide high quality, right first-time repairs whilst giving our customers excellent customer service.


This role will be a great chance for you to start a career in Property Maintenance. You will learn how to undertake various repair works to properties owned or managed by us alongside gaining your qualification in the field.


No two days will be the same – one day you could be attending a ‘Toolbox Talk’ sharing ideas on how the team could work even better, the next you could be working on an unoccupied property and ensuring it is up to standard for new customers and the next you could be discussing a repair with a current customer.


About you:


We are looking for someone with a real go-getting attitude, who will ask questions and strive to learn more about their role and the legislation behind the repairs we carry out.


Listening to our customers and responding to their needs is a big part of this role so you will have a great communication and interpersonal skills.


As you will be using our systems to see your work allocations and communications from the business, you will have strong IT skills (particularly Microsoft Office).


Due to the nature of the role, it is desirable that you have a full driving licence.


You will be committed to completing your Level 2 Intermediate Apprenticeship in Maintenance Operations
