Job Details

Peabody Group is a large diverse organisation, employing over 3,000 people. 

To maintain a high standard of cleaning throughout the Hugh Cubitt Centre and support daily operations including reporting repairs, reception cover, setting up/clearing rooms before and after activities and conducting basic health and safety checks. Role to include occasional cover of Parkside centre and Pembury centre in shortness of staff members.

Ideally the candidate will demonstrate an experience in facilities background.

The candidate will ensure that they are organised to carry out a multiple number of tasks assisting team members where possible making sure we are carrying out an clean, safe and efficient and compliant centre.

Skills/experience required:

To carry out tasks in accordance with the cleaning schedule, ensuring that both day to day duties and periodic cleaning are timely and completed to an appropriate standard.

To ensure repair and health and safety issues are reported promptly and followed up appropriately.

To complete the required arrangements for programmed activities and room hire bookings.

To develop positive working relationships with staff and volunteers at the Centre.

To follow Peabody Health and Safety policies and procedures to ensure, as far as is practicable, your own safety and that of others in the workplace. You will be required to undertake specific Health and Safety roles such as Fire Warden or First Aider as part of your duties.

Proven experience and ability to deliver excellent customer care and valuing diversity.
