WCHG’s vision is to create “a community where people choose to live and work, having pride in their homes and services”. Managing almost 14,000 properties across South Manchester, we provide homes for more than 20,000 people and we’re an integral part of the place shaping agenda in Manchester. As the first housing association in the North West of England to be awarded the prestigious ‘Investors in People’ Platinum Status, we are placed amongst an elite group of world class organisations.
This is a great time to join us and become an influential member of our Executive Team. We are in the midst of a £100m development and regeneration programme which will create over 800 new homes, and our new Group Chief Executive, along with several other key strategic members of the team, are joining us imminently.
This is certainly not ‘just a numbers’ role - providing inspirational leadership to our finance, ICT and income recovery teams is only part of the remit. Reporting to the Chief Executive, we’re looking for someone who’ll thrive in contributing broadly across the full spectrum of our strategic and commercial agendas. It’s a culture where ideas are valued, especially as we’re about to take the business into its next phase of growth. Working closely with funders, development and other teams and regeneration groups, you’ll be key to ensuring our exciting vision becomes reality.
Positive, results focused and collegiate you’ll bring a strategic outlook and add commercial value to our extensive service delivery programmes. Whether you’re already established as an Executive Director, or looking to step up, what’s most important is that your ambition matches ours. We’re moving forward at a rapid pace and our major investments in new homes, digital initiatives, regeneration and other projects will be both community and career enhancing.
