This is an exciting opportunity to join the UKs largest Housing Association on a 12 month contract, supporting the delivery of commercial activities.
The Group Procurement and Commercial Management Team is a centre of excellence which provides guidance and operational support on programmes and major projects, policy and procedure, and commercial management; driving performance, innovation and strategic savings delivery as well as assurance and performance monitoring.
Able to take a strategic approach when managing relationships and collaborate with other departments you'll be expected to be proactive whilst identifying and developing ways in which the team can deliver commercial value to the group. Working with the Procurement Performance, Assurance and Operations Lead, you'll deliver value to our customers by providing first line support and guidance whilst ensuring our approaches and policies remain flexible, responsible, value for money and adhere to commercial best practice.
With a proven track record of setting high standards and delivering at pace, you'll have experience in a procurement environment with good analytical capabilities, research skills and a broad understanding of OJEU and commercial practices.
