It’s an exciting time to be joining Lewisham Homes.

Amongst a large modernisation programme of various services we are looking to improve the way we deliver repairs and maintenance for our residents. We have re- organised   our Property Services Directorate which now  places all property related delivery and planning of our existing stock in one place. We now plan to undertake a thorough review of the way we deliver these services and to ensure that our existing in-house Direct Labour Organisation (DLO) workforce is well equipped and operating to the highest modern standards.

We are looking for an experienced Programme Manager to steer, co-ordinate and influence this project, working closely with our Director of Property Services and our Head of Service to ensure that a thorough and coordinated approach is taken.

The person will  need  an in depth knowledge and experience of DLO’s and how they work, This should include the customer facing functions as well as the operational delivery and associated  aspects  such as supply chain components. The post holder will have experience of:

• Producing documented processes and procedures to include LEAN thinking/  processes
• Clear commercial thinking in order that the optimum value for money is achieved through efficiencies.
• Working with a DLO on improvement programmes and a complete understanding of how a DLO works
• Leading the project management of  high value commercial  projects
• Working collaboratively with a range of teams and individuals across organisations
