The Role

Our Welfare Benefits Team are seeking a bright enthusiastic individual to join them as a Welfare Reform Officer. The role requires a high level of experience and skills in dealing with vulnerable residents and external partners.

In this role, you’ll help residents affected by the Bedroom Tax, Benefit Cap or Universal Credit manage their household budgets and maximise their income. You’ll be expected to take the lead on ensuring the team are up to date with Welfare Reform legislation and best practice and provide training to staff and residents.

Working in a target driven environment as part of a high performing team, you will play a key role in ensuring residents are supported to sustain their tenancies whilst ensuring the rental income for the organisation is maximised. Our Welfare Benefits Team promote agile working and you will have the option to work two days a week from home.
